KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT APPOINTS NEW VICE CHAIRMAN, EBIRA AREA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL

A new Vice Chairman, Ebira Area Traditional Council, has been appointed by the Kogi State Government.

 

He is the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, HRH Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje.

HRH Ahmed Anaje was presented with the Appointment Letter by the State Commissioner for Chieftaincy Affairs, Barrister Salami Ozigi Deedat in his Office in Lokoja, the State Capital.

Barr. Deedat congratulated HRH Ahmed Anaje on his new appointment, calling on him to continue to live up to expectations.

He commended Governor Bello for his commitment at according adequate attention to the Traditional stool since his assumption of Office and charged them to continue to sustain the existing peace in their domain.

In an interview with Newsmen, the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, appreciated the State Government for finding him worthy to serve in such Capacity, describing it as a call to service.

“I thank God that an Appointment Letter has been given to me as the Vice Chairman, Ebira Area Traditional Council

“Anyone holding this position automatically is the Chairman, Okene Local Government Traditional Council

“I urge the people of the Central Senatorial District and all Traditional Rulers to still give me helping hands because I cannot do this alone without their support

“I want to seize this opportunity to appreciate His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for the numerous projects he started across the 21 Local Government Areas for the benefit of the people

“At this juncture, I call on the people of the State to sustain their support to the present Administration for more dividends of democracy” he said.

He enjoined the people of the State to remain peaceful in their day-to-day activities, pointing out that the such will help ensure unprecedented development.
