Kogites Advised to Check their Names in INEC’s List of Registered Voters to be Pasted November 12th

As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) prepares to paste Lists of registered Voters on Walls across various Polling Unit in Kogi State on Saturday, 12th November 2022, Electorate in the State have been advised to verify their names.

 

The Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Voters Education and Registration (Kogi West), Hon. Eunice Olukomogbon, gave the advise in a statement in Lokoja.

 

Mrs. Olukomogbon explained that the call became necessary in view of the need for the electorate names to be correctly spelled with other information kept intact to enable them perform their franchise in the 2023 general elections.

“Be sure you are not disenfranchised by checking your names if it is written correctly in your various Polling Units from 12th November 2022

 

“Verification of name is very important most especially for the new registered voters so as to be able to confirm your names are inputted correctly on the Data

 

“For emphasis, go and verify your names on the INEC list that will be pasted on the walls on every Polling Unit across the State from Saturday 12th November 2022

 

“Good people of Kogi State, please make sure you check your name and ensure they are on the register to enable you vote come 2023

“Be part of the process to choose who Represents you by ensuring you are fully prepared for election via confirmation of your details” she added.

Hon. Eunice Olukomogbon also enjoined electorate in the State who have registered for their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to visit the INEC Office and pick them to enable them perform their franchise come 2023.
