The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Abdullahi Adamu has approved THE AMAZONS FOR PEACE INITIATIVE as a recognized Support Group of the Party ahead of the 2023 General Elections in the Country.
In a Letter dated 20th September 2022 which was signed by the Head of Support Groups/Mobilization, Alhaji Salisu Yahaya Alfa, the APC National Chairman enjoined the Group to work in synergy with the Party’s guidelines and Constitution.
The Founder and Initiator of the Group, Hajiya Nana Abu-Ali, appreciated the Party for recognizing the Association as a Support Group of APC, describing such honor as a morale boost to continue in the good works the Group has started.
Hajiya Nana explained that the Group which is made up of women of substance in Kogi State, will go all out to mobilize more women to vote massively for the Presidential Candidate of the Party, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and all Candidates of APC at the 2023 polls.
The AMAZONS FOR PEACE INITIATIVE Founder added that the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has created the enabling environment for women in the State to take active part politics and called on women across the 21 Local Government Areas of the State to come out in their numbers to perform their franchise come 2023.
