The Kogi State Chapter of a Women support Group, AMAZONS, has inaugurate her State, Local Government and Ward Executives in the Confluence State.

The Inauguration ceremony was held at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Office, along Ganaja junction, Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.

Speaking with Newsmen after the Inauguration, the State Coordinator of Amazons, Ogbe Blessing, appreciated the women wing of the support Group for their cooperation and dedication towards canvassing for support for the success of the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Sen. Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

She pointed out that the purpose of enaugurating the Executive was part of efforts at ensuring that the people at the grassroots are reached, well mobilized and informed for the task ahead, stressing that the women will be carried along in the scheme of things in the days ahead.

“Kogi State is blessed with so many women with the ability to turn things around and bring the needed results 

“We are simply out to ask for more inclusion of more women in the political arena, we need to be more involved and we need to be carried along as well

“We are so sure that with the Presidential Candidate of APC, we will be carried along when he emerge victorious in the 2023 General Elections

“We promise mobilize women across the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State to vote for our Presidential Candidate and all other candidates of the Party and we are sure that victory shall be ours” she assured.

The Executives inaugurated at the event, all promised to live up to expectations.
