As the World celebrates this year’s International Day for Persons with Disabilities, Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has been described as the most friendly Governor of Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria.

Hon. Emmanuel Aduku, a 2023 House of Assembly Contestant for Ankpa I State Constituency, made the assertion in a message to commemorate the day in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.

Hon. Aduku said under Governor Bello, PWDs in the State have enjoyed privileges including employment and appointment into various positions.

“His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello is the best lover of Persons With Disabilities in Nigeria

“Under Governor Yahaya Bello, the disability community in Kogi State have enjoyed a lot such as appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Disability,  Assistant on Disability, Disability Bord in Kogi State as well as creation of job for a lot of people with disability in Kogi State

“I was given a nomination form by the essential GYB to contest for Kogi State House of Assembly for Ankpa I and to God be the glory I won and some enemies of progress and those who think disability is a disease went ahead to substitute my name 

“All I know is that whatever a man sow he will definitely give account to His creator. I advice that we should all have the fear of God in all we do

“My prayer is that Almighty God will continue to bless His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, his Deputy, Chief Edward David Onoja, his Chief of Staff, Pharm. Abdulkareem Muhammed Jamiu Asuku

“I also seize this medium to appreciate my supporters for their show of love and I pray that Victory and justice will prevail at the Appeal Court” he said.
