As part of efforts to celebrate the 2022 Yuletide Season, Hon. Sandra Mimi Musa, an Aide to Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello of Kogi State on Women Affairs (Office of the First Lady), has brought smile to the faces of Women, Widows, youth and Party Faithfuls across Ajaokuta Local Government Area of the State.
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Executive Governor of Kogi State said her mission is to help others and also change lives positively.
She explained that the Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State – Governor Bello, has created enabling environment for women to thrive in politics in the State, explaining that they were appointed to always reach out to the people at the grassroots.
Hon. Sandra appreciated Governor Bello for giving her the opportunity to impact the lives of others, describing the Governor as a Pathfinder.
She appreciated the people of Ajaokuta Local Government Area for their commitment to the Party – APC, assuring them that their interest will be protected by the Candidates of the Party in next year’s elections.
Hon. Sandra Mimi enjoined women in the Area to stand firm with the APC, saying that the Party in the State has created avenue for people at the Grassroots to feel government impact.
She appreciated all appointees and other Government officials at the event, promising that she will continue to seize every opportunity to impact lives.

Speaking at the event, the Director General of the State Pension Board, Hajiya Mariam Abedo, explained that the Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello led administration in the State has been trying her best at ensuring the resuscitation of the Ajaokuta Steel Company.
Hajiya Mariam said the Governor Bello’s efforts were already yielding results in view of numbers of Companies that recently indicated interest to resuscitate Ajaokuta, calling on the people to vote for all the Candidates of the All Progressives Congress – APC in the 2023 General Elections for more dividends of democracy.

Similarly, the Executive Chairman, Kogi State Science, Technical Education and Teaching Service Commission (STETSCOM), Mrs. Cecilia Cook, commended Hon. Sandra for touching the lives of the people at the grassroots through various empowerment programs.
Mrs. Cook also praised the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for appointing women into various positions in the State, describing such development as the first of it’s kind in the history of the State.

Others in their remarks, extolled the leadership qualities of Governor Bello and assured that it will be victory all the way for the APC.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Esther, appreciated Hon. Sandra Mimi Musa for her gesture towards them and promised their unalloyed support to the All Progressives Congress – APC in the coming General Elections.

Dignities at the event include Special Adviser to Governor Bello on Pension – Hajiya Halima Amodu, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Political Matters Ajaokuta LGA – Hon. Ohinoyi Alanndo, SSA on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs – Hon. Siyaka Enebe, SSA on Tourism – Hajiya Mariam, SSA on Grassroots Sensitization Ajaokuta Federal Constituency – Pharm. Momoh Itopa and SSA on Rural Matters – Hon. Wakil Sule as well as seasoned Broadcaster – Pst. Halima (Big Mama) and the Chairperson of KOSAKA – Pst. Mrs. Roseline Alabi.
Others include, Ajaokuta Former APC Chairman – Hon. Balogun Hussein, State APC Public Relations Officer – Hon. Sule, Geregu and Ajaokuta Wards Chairmen, Ajaokuta Ward Councillor – Hon. Anarchy, Adogo Ward Councillor, Ajaokuta LGA Secretary – Hon. Omadudu and Geregu Ward APC Treasurer – Adayi Tijani.
Also present were Dr. Kamar Toyin – APC Presidential Campaign Council Director General (Youth) in charge of Kogi West, Representatives of the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of Ajaokuta Steel Company, APC Steel Township Chairman – Engr. Alimi Bello, and Ajaokuta Steel Company Lawyer, Barr. Zainab Abdulrahman.
Others are BOT – Mrs. Ozigi, Mallam Obakachi (Rtd), Mr. Benald Ozemuya (Rtd), APC House of Assembly Candidate for Ajaokuta State Constituency – Jibril Abu (Wisdombank) and his wife – Mrs. Victoria Ahuoiza Abu as well the Wife of the House of Representatives Candidate for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Mrs. Zuleihat Raimi.
Not less than 200 persons benefited from Hon. Sandra Mimi Musa’s reach out packages which include the distribution of rice, wrappers and cash.
None indigenes in Ajaokuta LGA including Bassa, Igala, Igbos, among others were not left out as they also smiled home with their packages.
