The Inike Town Hall in Okene Local Government Area was filled to the brim as Women from the 5 LGAs of Okene, Okehi, Adavi, Ogori Magongo, and Ajaokuta, converged to attend the Town Hall Meeting organized by the Kogi Central Female Appointees of the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration in the State.
The women, dressed in gorgeous attires and with various customized T-Shirts and Face Caps, took turns to sing victory songs for the APC and showered praises on Governor Bello for carrying women along in the scheme of things.
Addressing the gathering, the Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello on Women Affairs, Hon. Asmau Gogo, congratulated women for having Governor Bello serve the State at the moment.

Hon. Asmau, who is the Coordinator of the Town Hall Meeting, explained that the Governor has given priority to women in the State than other previous administrations in the State.
She noted that women in the State have never had it so good until the coming on board of Governor Bello, saying that women now have a say in the administration of the State.

For the sustenance of such good gesture, Hon. Asmau Gogo enjoined women to vote for all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress – APC in the coming elections.
She assured that they will be carried along in the scheme of things at the emergence of the Candidates of the Party, calling on them to sustain their support to the Party.

Speaking, the Director General of the State Pension Commission, Hajiya Mariam Abedo, said Governor Bello has written his name in gold through the appointment of women into various key positions in the State.
Hajiya Mariam noted that the future of the young ones have been accorded rare attention, calling on the women to cast their votes in favour of the APC for a better and secured future.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello on Electronic Media, Hon. Bilie Avoi Nwogu, stressed the need for the people to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to enable them elect credible leaders come 2023.
Hon. Bilie said APC is blessed with tested, trusted, result oriented and reliable candidates that will represent the interest of the people at all times, calling on the women to take the gospel and strengthen their door-to-door campaign.

She enjoined women at the Town hall meeting to make it a point of duty by collecting their PVC and encourage others to do same, describing PVC as the only voice that will be heard by the officials.

Similarly, the Vice Chairperson of Ajaokuta Local Government Area, Salamat Salami Magdalene, explained that Candidates of the APC are competent individuals who will turn the fortunes of their various areas for good for the benefit of all.
Magdalene pointed out that the coming election is about the well being and the future of the people, calling on them to vote wisely for a prosperous and progressive society.

Others in their remarks, pointed out that the people will do all they can to ensure the Party retain power come 2023.
The women in their separate remarks, promised to come out in their numbers to perform their franchise, adding that APC will record an early victory at the polls.
Kogi State Head of Service, Mrs. Hannah Odiyo, the Managing Director, Kogi Enterprise Development Agency (KEDA) Rekiya Onaivo Sanni, Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants, among others, attended the Town Hall Meeting.
