Ahead of the 2023 General Elections in the Country, the victory of the All Progressives Congress – APC has again been assured in Kogi Central.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on Grassroots Sensitization – Kogi Central, Hon. Bilkis Inya Oyiza Ozi-Okuku, gave the assurance at a Town Hall Meeting organized by the Kogi Central Female Appointees of the Governor Bello led administration in the State.
Hon. Bilkis said the large turn out of women in the Central Senatorial District to the Town Hall Meeting was a testament of women’s readiness to vote for Candidates of the APC in the next Political dispensation, describing the Party as a sure bet for rapid development.
The Governor Bello’s aide pointed out that GYB’s commitment at giving women opportunity to serve in the herm of affairs in the State also serve as a morale boost to other women, stressing that women in Kogi Central will turn out en’mass to cast their votes for all Candidates of the Party from the Presidency to the House of Assembly Candidates in the 2023 General Elections.
“This meeting is one of it’s kind, it is a meeting that brought together women that matters in politics, especially at the grassroots level across Kogi Central
“We rubbed minds together, we had heart to heart talks. They told us where we should come and also pointed out areas that needs improvement, that is politics
“This meeting is very strategic because we discussed at length how to mobilize the people to vote for the APC so that we can record a resounding victory in the 2023 General Elections and by the grace of God, the victory of APC is sure in Kogi Central” she assured.
The SSA commended women for turning out in their numbers for the meeting, calling on them to take the message of the Party to all nooks and crannies of the Area.
She also commended the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for giving women rare opportunities in his administration, adding that they will continue to make him and all Kogites proud through the discharge of their duties.
