“If you Vote for PDP, Salary Arrears Will Become a Thing of the Past in Kogi” – Atiku

PDP 2023 Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar Campaign Train in Kogi

The Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 General Elections, Atiku Abubakar, has promised to prioritize the welfare of Kogi workers if elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the Coming elections.

 

 

Abubakar made the promise during the Presidential Rally of the PDP at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, Kogi State Capital, in company of his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and other top functionaries of the Presidential Campaign Council of the PDP.

 

 

He said Nigerians have been facing untold hardship, saying that PDP will ensure a turn around of every sectors of the economy if voted into power come 2023.

The PDP Presidential Candidate explained that Kogi State remain strategic in the politics of Nigeria, promising that attention will be given to the State following the support given to him and his Campaign Team during their visit to the State.

“I am grateful to all the people of Kogi State for the massive show of support given to us during our visit to the Confluence of opportunities

 

The people of Kogi State are men and women of integrity, if you want changes from what the State is experiencing today, have a change of mind by voting out the APC and ensure you vote for all the Candidates of the PDP in the 2023 General Elections

 

“Your challenges have been ennumirated, including Ajaokuta Steel Company and I promise that the nightmare of Ajaokuta will be a thing of the past with PDP Government 

 

“Inland Board is a national issue, it is not peculiar to Kogi State alone, it will be solved when we come on board 

 

The good people of Kogi State, if you vote for PDP, there will be No more salary arrear issues in the State, this is a promise we are making

“We will give your youths jobs and businesses to survive and we will resolve strike issues in the Education Sector” he assured.

 

Atiku called on the Supporters of the PDP in Kogi State to go across the nooks and crannies of the State to canvass for change of Governance in the next dispensation, stressing that the Party is prepared to bring the needed change to the State.

In their address, Former Governors of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada and Ibrahim Idris, popularly called IBRO, both expressed happiness over the mammoth crowd that received their Presidential Candidate at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.

 

They encouraged the people of Kogi State to get their PVC and vote for all Candidates of the PDP in the State, assuring that positive change will be witnessed with Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa, serving as Nigeria’s President and Vice President respectively.

Similarly, the 2023 Kogi Central PDP Senatorial Candidate, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, while speaking on behalf of other Senate Candidates, T.J Yusuf of Kogi West and Victor Adoji of the Eastern Senatorial Districts, appreciated the people of Kogi State for their large turn out, calling on them to do same at the election day.

 

Natasha pointed out that the Party has formidable structure in the State, saying that the Party will swim into victory effortlessly in the 2023 General Elections.

 

Other Members of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, also took turns to enlighten the people on the reasons why they should vote for Candidates of the Party, adding that the Country is at the verge of experiencing a positive turn around with the PDP in power.

 

After the Rally at the Confluence Stadium, the jubilant supporters of the Party took to the streets of Lokoja, flags, placards and posters of various PDP Candidates to celebrate and announce the presence of the PDP in the State.
