The Kogi State Coordinator of Yoruba General Assembly, Hon. Abdulraheem Idris, has called on electorate in the State to get their Permanent Voter Cards and ensure their vote counts for the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the February 2023 General Elections.
The Former Councillor, Ankpa 1 in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, made the call in a Telephone interview with a Correspondent of the Intelligence News in Lokoja, the State Capital.
Hon. Idris said the Yoruba General Assembly decided to throw her weight behind the “JAGABAN” in view of the wonders he performed while serving as the Governor of Lagos State.
He noted that Nigeria and her citizens will be better of when Tinubu and Kashim Shettima emerge President and Vice President of Nigeria after the 2023 General Elections, describing them as tested and Trusted leaders of great repute.
“To those that are yet to get their PVC, please visit the designated places, especially INEC and get your PVC
“The 2023 General Election is here already. We need to choose credible, committed, dependable and result oriented leaders during the elections
“His Excellency, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a man that transformed Lagos during his tenure as a Governor, once we vote him into power, he will transform Nigeria for good” he assured.
Hon. Idris also called on the people of Kogi State to ensure they vote for all Candidates of the All Progressives Congress APC at all levels, stressing that progress will be experienced with APC’s victory in the coming elections.

He explained that the Support Group, Yoruba General Assembly for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidency, is a registered Group with Tinubu Support Group (TSG) and the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in Abuja, explaining that the Group has structures on ground to ensure grassroots Mobilization for the Party’s victory come 2023.
“The Yoruba General Assembly is a Support Group that is well coordinated and fully ready for the 2023 General Elections in Nigeria
“We have Zonal Coordinators across the 3 Senatorial Districts and 21 coordinators across the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State
“Not only that, this Group has been registered with TSG and PCC in Abuja. We are recognized and we will ensure we mobilize the people of Kogi State for the Presidential Candidate of our dear Party. By the help of Allah, victory shall be ours and Nigerians will be better for it” he said.
