An Islamic Organization, Council of Ulama’u of Nigerian – Kogi State, visited the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, HRH Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje who doubles as the the Patron of the Council in Kogi Central.

 

 

The delegation was led by Hon. Justice Suleiman Olorunfemi, the former Grand Kadi of Kogi State and Vice Chairman of the Council in the State.

 

Justice Olorunfemi, while addressing the gathering, noted that the Organization is committed towards spreading Islam across the nooks and crannies of the Nation.

 

He said Islam remain a religion of peace, pointing out that no society can progress in the face of rancho and acrimony.

The Former Grand Kadi charged the people to continue to coexist peacefully irrespective of Religious, tribal and other natural differences that has divided the people in the past.

 

He also explained where love exists, the people will always seek the progress of their neighbors, calling on the people to remain faithful to the doctrines of Allah as enshrined in the holy Qua’ran.

 

The Council commended the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for his relentless efforts at ensuring religious harmony in the State and for his constant support to religious bodies to enable them make progress.

They prayed Allah to grant him and his cabinet members the ability to finish well.

 

The Council also commended the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, HRH Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje for always taking out time to attend to religious issues in the Kogi Central, praying Allah to grant him the enablement to continue to perform his functions at all times.

 

The Organization encouraged Muslims to renew their commitment to prayers, studying of the holy Qua’ran, listening to healthy lectures among others, stressing that such will go a long way at helping them draw closer to Allah.

 

Responding, the Patron, Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria – Kogi Central, HRH Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, described the visit of the body as unprecedented and appreciated the Body for the honor.

The Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, who is also the the Vice Chairman, Ebira Area Traditional Council, noted that the peace of the Society remain an important part human existence, stressing that success becomes stress-free in the atmosphere of love and unity.

 

The Traditional Ruler promised to continue to contribute his quota towards ensuring progress both in the society and the spread of Islam at all times.

 

The Administration Secretary, Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria, Kogi State – Alh. Idris Babaango, the Public Relations Officer of the Council in the State – Alh. Zakariyau Aliu, among others, were part of the delegation to the Palace of the OHI of Okengwe-Ehi.
