As part of efforts at strengthening Security in Olamaboro Local Government Area, the Executive Chairman of the Area, Hon. Adejoh Friday Nicodemus, has held a strategic meeting with security agencies in the area and visited some areas with security hitches.

A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman on Media, Publicity and Strategies, Comr. Okone Samuel (Okoncy), explained that the meeting was attended by the Heads of Security Agencies and traditional rulers, as well as top government functionaries in the area.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman assured that no stone will be left unturned at fighting men of the underworld to a standstill in the Area.

Nicodemus explained that the State Governor, Yahaya Bello has invested so much in the security of lives and property of the people of Kogi State, saying that he will not fold his arms and watch criminal elements question such giant stride of the Governor in the Area.

While assuring the people that all security issues will be resolved, he also enjoined them to report to appropriate quarters suspicious people, activities and gatherings to enable security agencies trail and apprehend criminals in the Area.

The Heads of Security Agencies at the Meeting, all declared that they are battle ready to send the men of the underworld back to where they belong and make the area a safe haven for all lawful activities of the good people of Olamaboro.

The places visited include; Ogugu-Ete road, Etutekpe-Branch road amongst others.
