2023: “Stay United, Elect Credible Leaders” -Chief Suleiman Abdulhammed Charges Electorate

As Nigerians troops to the Polls to cast their vote to elect new leaders, they have been called upon to remain united irrespective of their political differences.



A Former Special Adviser on Political Matters to Kogi State Governor, Chief Suleiman Abdulhameed Danjuma, AKA “Alhaji Danjuma Gegu”, made the call in a Telephone Conversation with a Correspondent of the Intelligence News.


Alhaji Danjuma Gegu explained that before politics, the people have been living together and will continue to live in the same areas after elections, calling on them not to allow politics divide them.

He noted that the peace of the society should be accorded attention to by all Political Parties and supporters, calling on them to avoid words or actions that may cause havoc to the peace being enjoyed.


Engr. Suleiman, who is the Dan-Isan of Koton-Karfe Kingdom and Kwarabai of Abaji Kingdom (Daudu) Abaji, FCT Abuja, explained that the importance of togetherness cannot be overemphasized, advising the people to embrace peace at all times.


“I want to congratulate Nigerians for the opportunity given to us again to chose those that will oversee our affairs for the next four years

“As we go to the polls on Saturday, 25th February 2023, I advise all Nigerians to make peace a priority. Let’s go to the polls and perform our rights in peace 


“Go to the Polls, vote for who you want to vote for and remain peaceful in all you do during the Elections


“Continue to respect the rule of law, let’s continue to stay together as one and ensure that the we don’t force others to vote for who they don’t want to vote for. Above all, let’s remain united as a people” he advised.


The Ongyhu Orgbane of Gegu-Beki Kingdom (Gbadariji) and Marafah of Igbogo, also hinted that it was important for them to elect credible leaders that will represent their interest.
