2023 Ramadan: “Pray for Peace, Justice, Equality and Harmony in Nigeria” – Hon. Teejay Appeal to Muslims

As Muslims commence the 2023 Ramadan, they have been called upon to pray fervently for Allah’s peace to reign in Nigeria, the giant of Africa.

 

The Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Teejay Yusuf, made the appeal in a statement by his Teejay Media Team in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.

The Kogi West Senatorial Aspirant in the just concluded General Elections,d escribed Islam as a religion of peace whose adherents practice true love, religious harmony, seek mutual coexistence and pursue positive development in all ramifications.

The Lawmaker advised Muslims to use the opportunity of the ongoing fast to reflect on the state of the Nation and the need to unite all Nigerians irrespective of religion, political or ethnic background.

“I felicitate with all Muslim brothers and sisters in Nigeria as we begin the Holy month of Ramadan where we are given opportunity to get closer to Allah through fasting

 

“My appeal to Nigerians is that we should pray for peace, justice, equality and harmony in the Nation

 

“Be reminded also that Ramadan is a time for charity, reflection and sacrifice. So, let’s abide by these, continue to be our brothers keeper and Allah will see us through (Amin)🙏”

 

The People’s Democratic Party – PDP bigwig called on the people of kogi west senatorial district to use the period of Ramadan to seek the wisdom of Allah in choosing visionary and development-driven leader in the 11th November 2023 Governorship election in the State.

“I urge all my people in Kogi West Senatorial District to use the opportunity presented by this Ramadan to seek the face of Allah (SWT), on the leaders we want for our dear State – Kogi

 

“May Allah accept our entire fast and bless our homes in this Holy month and May He help us to use this Ramadan to become better” Teejay said.
