The misunderstanding among the Politicians in Ebira Land THEN, was as a result of not having a trustworthy, competent and dedicated leader. With the emergence of H.E Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello as a leader, creation of crippling dissension within the politicians will be a thing of the past.
The road to the Lugard House is long, expensive and exhausting. The Governor who implored the people under him to purchase Expression of Interest and Nomination form for Kogi State Governorship Race has his reasons. It means the winner will eventually emerge from those who made their interests known. All of you that are presently seeking for the position are qualified, capable and good to go. At the end only one person will emerge as the candidate of All Progressives Congress – APC for the Governorship Election.
Let’s extend the hands of fellowship to whoever emerge as the Party’s candidate. Competition and unhealthy rivalry must end as soon as a candidate emerge. There should be no victor or vanquish. Unity of purpose should be our objective as we strive to retain the Number One Seat of the State in our zone.
Yes! human nature is partly composed of personal ambitions. Life would be incomplete without such goals and dreams. Yet, we must be motivated by other things other than our personal benefit.
We have experienced harsh realities in the past and we must not allow the return of the past travesty. In 1999, Late A.T. Ahmed and Alh. Usman Bello both lost the primary election to Chief Awoniyi of Kabba extraction because the two of them were blindfolded by personal ambition and refused to step down for each other.
In 2003, Senator A.T. Ahmed of blessed memory who was perceived as POLITICAL GLADIATOR in Kogi State lost primary election to Ibrahim Idris of Igala extraction due to the protracted war of attrition between him and other aspirants from Ebira Land.
Therefore, we must learn from their mistakes, make amends and approach the forthcoming Primary Election as a united house. If we fail, the consequences would be disastrous.
Those who detest progress in our land in the past fought severely and are still fighting. You people have to remain true to your beliefs. I know it is challenging, that is why you must bond together as one family for a purpose. Prepare to right the wrongs of the past, let’s build a better Ebira Land. This means you must join hands even more tightly than before.
No society can develop if there is no unity amongst its people. People cannot work together unless they are together, this was the reason why we came into the Music Industry to preach reconciliation and unity to our people (Ebiras), Kogites, Nigerians and the whole World.
Our aim and objective of coming into the Music Industry will be fulfilled if we can have an Ebira Person as a replacement for Governor Yahaya Bello at end of his second tenure.
Finally, my appeal to all Aspirants from Kogi Central is to accommodate each other at the end of the primary election is to remain united so that we can attain victory in the electoral battles to come.
This is My piece of advice to Ebira Governorship aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress – APC

I praise our progressive Musician Sunshine for his golden advice to our Egbira Aspirants for Kogi governorship in APC. To me, the best advice for them is to unite and come up with one aspirant for the zone BEFORE the PRIMARY election so that we can win the ticket.
If we go into the primary election divided, the ugly history may repeat itself. Let us act wisely now before it is too late. May Allah Forbid the repeat of our ugly past, aaameeen!!!
