A church built by Charles Iduh Foundation, Saint Mary’s Catholic Church at Avrugo in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State, is to be dedicated to the glory of God on the thirteenth, May 2023.

The Church is built in honor of late Pa Charles Iduh, a foremost Businessman, Philanthropist and a Consummate Community Leader in Igalaland.

The dedication of the Church will be performed by the Catholic Bishop of Idah Diocese, His Lordship, Most Reverend Doctor Anthony Ademu Adaji (MSP), at nine O’Clock in the morning.

The Church dedication is part of programmes lined up to mark the tenth Anniversary of the demise of Pa Charles Iduh by his family, friends and relations.

Late Pa Charles Iduh was born in 1933 and died on the thirteenth of April, 2013.

During his life time, Pa Iduh made positive impact on the lives of many, including orphans and the less privileged within his immediate community and outside.

Pa Charles Iduh is blessed with many children, great and grand children, who at present are making tremendous contributions to the growth and development of Avrugo Community and the society at large.

Among the children of the deceased are, a Lokoja based Medical Practitioner, Doctor Joseph Iduh as well as High Chief (Pharmacist) Peter Iduh, an Abuja based business mogul.

Speaking on the legacies of their father, one of his sons, High Chief Peter Iduh said one of the enduring legacies of the Community Leader was his strong commitment to discipline and education he bequeathed to the children and others under his care.

High Chief Peter Iduh with happiness said they (children) remained grateful to the profound vision of their father, who saw education as gateway to greatness in the society, as they are now equipped to cater for themselves and as well assist the vulnerable in the society.

On the dedication of the Church in memory of Pa Charles Iduh, High Chief Peter Iduh said their late father was a devote Christian, who was dedicated and committed to the Catholic faith, hence the need to build the church in his honor as part of activities to mark his tenth anniversary.
