On Sunday, 28th May, 2023, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello received the news of the Conferment of National Honours in the elevated echelons of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) on him by outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari.

Reacting to the news, the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, HRH Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, congratulated Governor Bello over the Honour, describing him as a pride to the people.

The Traditional Ruler who doubles as the Vice Chairman, Ebira Area Traditional Council, said the Governor’s contributions to both State and National issues has been top notch, calling him to continue in his good works.

HRH Ahmed Anaje appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for finding the illustrious son Kogi State worthy of the honours, describing the President as a man of great virtue.

He said the legacies of the outgoing President will speak for itself in the days ahead and praised him for his leadership acumen since his assumption of Office.
