As part of efforts at showing support and commitment towards ensuring the emergence of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the next Governor of Kogi State, the Ododo Independent Campaign Council – OICC, has embarked on a Medical Outreach across the three Senatorial Districts of the State.
Commenting on the Medical Outreach, the Director General of OICC, Mustapha Rani Mohammed, said the Group embarked on the Outreach following her believe in Ododo’s ability to transform the Health sector in the State.

Rani noted that the incumbent, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello CON has done well in the sector, stressing that the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Ahmed Usman Ododo will build on GYB’s legacies and ensure a quality health for the entire people of the State.
“Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is one of the rare appointees that used his resources to build a conducive Hospital his people while serving as the Auditor General for Local Government
“Such a man will ensure quality healthcare for the entire people of the State, this is why we have decided as a Group, to embark on this Medical Outreach across the three Senatorial Districts of our dear State
“We are reaching out to the people at the Grassroots because that is what our Principal is interested in, that is ensuring the lives of all citizens are touched positively especially those at the Grassroots
“As an independent Group, we are ensuring we go all out to canvass for support for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comr. Joel Oyibo Salifu and we are sure that by God’s grace, victory shall ours in the November 11th Governorship Election in Kogi State“ he said.
The OICC DG called on the people of the State to rally round Ododo, stressing that they will enjoy more dividends of democracy under his leadership.
Also speaking, one of the Leaders of OICC, Joseph Ameh, said politics is local, hence the Group’s decision to engage the people at the Grassroots through the Medical Outreach.
Ameh encouraged those at the Grassroots to sustain their support for the All Progressives Congress APC, adding that the Party has better plans for them.
