The victory of Ahmed Usman Ododo as the sole Candidate of the All Progressives Congress – APC at the Federal High Court in Abuja has been described as a pointer to the Party’s resounding victory in the November 11th Governorship election in Kogi State.

A Chieftain of the Party, Hon. Taiwo Olorunfemi Olukayode stated this in an interview with a Correspondent of Smart News in his Office in Lokoja.

Hon. Olukayode congratulated the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the party’s candidate in the November 11 gubernatorial election, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo over the High Court pronouncement which affirmed his candidature.

He urged stakeholders of the APC and all Citizens of the State to join hands with the candidate to ensure victory for the party during the governorship election.

Hon. Taiwo noted that Governor Yahaya Bello has done numerous projects in the State and enjoined citizens to give massive support to the party to ensure sustained dividends of democracy.

Hon.Taiwo Olorunfemi Olukayode expressed confidence in the capacity and competence of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to build on the achievements of Governor Bello, describing the APC Flagbearer as what Kogi State needs moving forward after Governor Bello’s administration.

Recall that a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Wednesday 12th July 2023, dismissed a suit filed by an aspirant in the All Progressives Congress’ Governorship primaries in Kogi State, Senator Smart Adeyemi, against the emergence of the candidate of the party, Usman Ododo, saying it lacks merit.
