The Director General of Ododo Ebigo Connect, Comr. Abdulganiyu Okaraga Jimoh, has expressed belief in the ability of Ahmed Usman Ododo at tackling flood and other related issues in Kogi State when he becomes Governor.
A statement by Garba Abdulmaleek Adeiza, explained that Comr. Okaraga made the assertion after a solidarity meeting with the Special Adviser to the State Governor on Humanitarian Affairs, Hajiya Amina Usman at the annual “Kogi State Flood Humanitarian Preparedness Plan for 2023 Stakeholders Engagement Meeting”, organized to profer possible solutions to the upcoming flood that may likely arise.
The DG said the 2023 Kogi State Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress – APC has in various ways, shown concern to the plight of the people, stressing that when given the opportunity to serve as Number One citizen of the State, he will engage all critical Stakeholders in the environment sector to profer solution to the menace.
Comr. Okaraga expressed optimism that Ododo will serve as a Governor for all, calling on the entire people of the State to rally round him and ensure his victory at the November 11th Governorship Election in the State.
“Our Candidate and Insha’Allah, the incoming Governor of our State – Kogi, talking about Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has even before now, proven his worth at delivering the needed results
“Unlike some, Ododo never waited to do things for the people only when he’s contesting, he has left footprints at the grassroots long before he joined the Governorship race
“Now that Allah has made him the Governorship Candidate of Kogi APC, I have no doubt that the issue of Flood and other environmental related challenges will be a thing of the past
“All we have to do as a people (Kogi Central, West and East), is to give him our maximum support and work for his victory as a united entity” he stressed.
The Director General of Ododo Ebigo Connect said the presence of the Support Group at the event was to commend the good work undertaken by Hajia Amina Usman at various levels.
Comr. Okaraga described Hajiya Amina who doubles as the Deputy State Women Coordinator of Ododo Ebigo Connect, as a woman of capacity that has been contributing her quota to the development of the Confluence State and prayed to Allah to continue to strengthen her in all her endeavours.
He assured that the Sensitization movement of the Support Group for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo will continue at various axis – within and outside the State, adding that Ododo Agenda which is a Kogi Agenda, is a task for all.
