The Founder of Sister-To-Sister Empowerment Worldwide, Dr. Mary Alile (CAPACITY), has congratulated Dr. Betta Edu for making the Ministerial List sent to the Senate by His Excellency, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
In a Congratulatory Message, Dr. Mary said such was a display of President Tinubu’s believe in the ability of women in contributing positively to the progress of the Nation – Nigeria and beyond.
She noted that the Nomination of Dr. Betta Edu was not as surprise, pointing out that she has in various ways displayed strength and ability to yield the required results at all given task.
While wishing her success in the days ahead, Mama CAPACITY said she has no doubt that Dr. Betta will live up to expectations wherever she is posted to serve Nigerians.
On Thursday 27th July, 2023, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio read to the House the 28 names of the Ministerial Nominees sent to the Senate by President Tinubu, of which Dr. Betta Edu was mentioned.
Dr. Betta Edu is a Nigerian politician and National Women Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and has served as Cross River State Commissioner for Health until her resignation in 2022.
She was also the National Chairman of the Nigeria Health Commissioners Forum.
