Asuku Women Political Network For Ododo Begins Distribution of Tell-One-To-Tell Ten Forms

As part of efforts at ensuring victory for Ahmed Usman Ododo and Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, Candidates of the All Progressives Congress – APC for the 2023 Governorship Election in Kogi State, a Group – Asuku Women Political Network For Ododo, has Flagged Off House-To-House Campaign in Lokoja Local Government Area.

The event saw the distribution of Ten Forms to each to Coordinators with a charge to return home to distribute to those at the grassroots aimed at mobilizing more support for the APC Candidates, Ododo and Oyibo.

Dignitaries, including the House of Representatives Member representing Kogi/Lokoja Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Suleiman Aguye (DSA), Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Buba Jibril, House of Assembly Member representing Lokoja 1 State Constituency, Bin Ebaiya Shehu Tijani – BEST, Chairman, Lokoja LGA, Hon. Muhammed Dan-Asabe Muhammed, among others attended the event.

While addressing the people, Hon. Danladi Aguye commended the women for their efforts at canvassing for the Party’s Candidates, describing their commitment as encouraging.

Hon. Aguye said the vision of ensuring Ododo and Oyibo takes over from Governor, Yahaya Bello CON and Chief David Onoja (CIK) is a collective efforts, charging them to sustain their commitment towards realising the sole objective.

While commending the President of Asuku Women Political Network, Hajiya Fatima Alade for her efforts, he assured of his support to the Group and women in general in the days ahead.

The State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Buba Jibril, described women as a people of great virtue whose goals and aspirations can always be achieved, urging them to continue to speak with a voice in the Ododo/Oyibo Project 2023.

Hon. Buba praised Hajiya Alade for her commitment and advised the women to cooperate with her to achieve great success.

The President of Asuku Women Political Network 4 Ododo Kogi State, Hon. Fatima Abdulkareem Alade, said women plays important roles in politics; hence the need to bring them together under an umbrella to discuss the way forward and engage in activities that will enable them benefit in the next dispensation in Kogi State.

Hajiya Fatima who doubles as the Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Adoza Bello on Stakeholders Relation 2, noted that the Group is out to galvanize for for support for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and Comr. Joel Salifu Oyibo to emerge as the next Governor and Deputy Governor of the State.

The grassroots female politician however said the need for women to be carried along in the scheme of things after elections cannot be overemphasized, explaining that they still have significant roles to play even after election.

She solicited for realisable empowerment of women such through grants to enable them boost their businesses and as well, demanded for more women involvement in governance as demonstrated by Governor Bello.

Hon. Fatima Alade appreciated the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Muhammed Jamiu Asuku for his efforts so far, praying to God to see him through in all his endeavours.

She also appreciated dignitaries at the event for their time, promising that the Group will not relent at ensuring Ododo/Oyibo become a reality to the benefit of all.

In an interview with the Consultant of the Group, Dr. Bawa Dangana, said the duo of Ododo and Oyibo are prepared to transform Kogi State, emphasizing that the Group will continue to go all out to preach the good news to others and the need for them to vote the APC Candidates.

Dr. Bawa who was a former appointee in the State, commended the efforts of the women, describing them as dogged, visionary and committed mothers.
