…commends GYB’s Laudable Initiatives

The Ebira People in Lokoja under the auspices of Ebira People Association (EPA) has adopted the candidacy of Ahmed Usman Ododo as the next Governor of Kogi State.
The adoption followed a meeting held by the Association in Lokoja to preview the continuous prosperity of the State at the end of the tenure of the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
A communiqué issued at the end of the meeting which was signed by EPA Chairman in Lokoja, Comrade Moses Momoh, explained that the political history of the State revealed that a new set of government under a different political platform do abandon ongoing Projects of the previous administration which according to them resulted in lost of large volume of economic, social and political development of the State.
The Group noted that the Candidacy of Ahmed Usman Ododo who is part of the present administration will ensure the completion of all ongoing Projects especially the two new State Universities that are under development, Healthcare development polices where many hospitals and health care centers are also under construction, among others.

EPA enjoined the people of the State to cast their votes for the Ododo, the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in the November 11th 2023 Election to enable him continue with the good legacies of Governor Bello.
“There are numerous infrastructural projects that have reached reasonable level of completion such as operation light-up Kogi East and other Rural Communities across the State, various Road Projects and many other social infrastructures targeted to improve the living standards of the people of the State
“The continuity of progressive development can only be achieved when a the Member of the present cabinet takes over the Leadership of the State to forestall unnecessary waste of economic values which could be inimical to financial utilization especially now that the resources for development are depreciating. This is why we need Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo” the Communiqué stressed.
The Association explained that the present administration has ensured adequate security of lives and property of the citizens, putting the State among the most peaceful States in Nigeria, noting that investments only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
“There is political stability and cultural integration among the various Sociocultural Groups in Kogi State resulting from the articulate policies of the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration
“EPA also observed that the art of governance under the new direction policy of Governor Bello has brought brought about transpiracy and accountability as all public financial utilization and budgetary provision are online for verification by the public
“These are precious police driving the sustainable development and the State government has received many Awards over these initiatives so we commend the State Governor Alhaji Yahaja Bello for initiating policies and programmes that has brought steady development to the State and harmonious relationship among the various Socio ethnic Groups
“The impact of Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Education and health care development among others are land mark achievement in the history of the State. We therefore urge the people of Kogi State to allow the policies to grow to maturity by voting for Ododo who will sustain and complement on these loudable projects and initiatives”.
EPA advised the people of the State to look beyond ethnical and regional politics and allow a prosperous Kogi State by voting for Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo who has served under the present administration to ensure the completion of projects and policies that are ment to drive the State to a more model place and economic prosperity for the present generation and those yet unborn.

Meanwhile, the Communiqué revealed that EPA has set machinery in motion to organize an inter denominational prayer for peaceful co-existence and economic development of the State and the peaceful conduct of gubernatorial election taking place in the State on the 11th of November 2023, urging all other ethnic nationalities in the State to do same in the interest of the development of Kogi State.
Present at the meeting were over two hundred Associations under Ebira People Association (EPA) in Lokoja and prominent Ebira personalities.
