The Leadership of the Pan African Youth Union has pledged to continue to engage all critical stakeholders to find afrocentric solutions to african challenges.
The Leadership of the Union made the promise during a meeting the President of Transition and Head of State of the Republic of Burkina Faso, His Excellency, Cpt. Ibrahim Traore, at the Presidency in Ouagadougou.

PAYU had robust discussion on important issues of building Institutions and systems during the transitional process and also discussed key issues of black dignity, Western imperialism, neocolonialism and the need for true sovereignty and independence of Africa and guarantee the welfare of the citizens.
The Leadership of the Pan African Youth Union thanked the President for integrating the National Youth Council of Burkina Faso across strategic State Institutions to contribute to the transitional process and allowing the youth to operate despite the ban on political activity.
In his response, President Traore, lamented the prioritization of Western interest above the welfare and aspiration of the African.
The President appreciated the Leadership of PAYU for the visit and encouraged them to continue in their quest of serving as a voice for the voiceless youth, stressing that the youth demography are talented in various fields, adding that when such talents are put to good use will benefit the African continent and beyond.
