It is another plus for the All Progressives Congress APC and her 2023 Governorship Candidate in Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as Forum of Former Political Office Holders Flags off “Operation Deliver Your Polling Unit (ODYPU) For Ododo/Oyibo.
“Operation Deliver Your Polling Unit (ODYPU) For Ododo/Oyibo was flagged off by the Forum at the residence of the APC Governorship Candidate, Ododo in Lokoja, the State Capital.
Speaking with the Chairman of the Forum, Dr. Dangana Abdusalam Bawa, said the move involving those who served in various capacities in Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello’s first Tenure (2016-2019), decided to flag off the Slogan in support of Ododo as their contributions to his emergence as the next Governor of the State.
Dr. Bawa pointed out that the Forum has been up and doing at canvassing for the Party’s Governorship Candidate, a man he said is equipped with the requisite knowledge and experience to serve the people of the Confluence State well.
“The Operation Deliver Your Polling Unit for Ododo/Oyibo 2023 has to do with Mobilizing voters at the Polling Unit Levels such that we will be able to convince them through sensitization to get block votes for the APC Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo
“Ododo has been part of this government as far as good governance is concerned. He is experienced in financial management and public administration, he is young and has advantage of age
“We believe he will consolidate on the current developmental strides of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, the Executive Governor of Kogi State“ he said.
He explained that the Country is currently under the leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress APC, saying that it will be wise for all Kogites to cast their votes for the Party’s Candidate in the State for more dividends of democracy.
Dr. Dangana Abdusalam Bawa promised that the Group will engage critical Stakeholders and voters at the Grassroots towards mobilizing them for the Ododo/Oyibo Project, expressing optimism that APC will emerge victorious in the November 11th 2023 Governorship election in Kogi State.
