The Governor of Cross Rivers State, H.E Prince Bassey Otu has announced the theme for the 2023 Edition of Calabar Carnival.

A statement by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Hon. Bill Francis Bill, explained that the Calabar Carnival has theme; “SEASON OF SWEETNESS”.

This year’s Carnival is to celebrate the sweetness and joy that comes with the holiday season and will feature variety of events and activities to the admiration of all.

The statement enjoined sons and daughters of the State, the public and potential Investors to attend the Carnival which promises to surpass last year’s performances.

The statement added that the date, time and venue will be announced in due season.
