President Tinubu Appoints Khalil Suleiman Halilu as Executive Vice Chairman/ CEO of NASENI

Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Khalil Suleiman Halilu as the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).

A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, explained that Halilu, a talented innovator and technology expert at the age of 32, will bring his wealth of experience to the crucial national role.

The statement noted that his expertise and innovative mindset will undoubtedly contribute greatly to the development of NASENI and its mission.

“By the provisions set forth in the NASENI Act of 2014, Khalil Suleiman Halilu will serve an initial term of five years in this Leadership position

“With immediate effect, the tenure of Dr. Bashir Gwandu as EVC/CEO of NASENI has been terminated, in accordance with the President’s directive

“We congratulate Mr. Halilu on his appointment and wish him every success in his new position. His dedication and passion for science and engineering will undoubtedly drive NASENI forward, ensuring its continued growth and contribution to the Nation’s progress” the statement read in part.
