More feathers have been added to the Crown of the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, HRH Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje as he receives two Honors within the space of a week.
First, HRH Ahmed Anaje received a letter from the League of Imams, Kogi Central Senatorial District – Ebira Central Mosque, Okene Kogi State, to serve as the PATRON (I) of the Organisation.
The Letter, jointly signed by the Chairman Imam/Ameer, Ameer/President, Secretary General and the Secretary/Branch of the Body, explained that the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi was found worthy for the position in view of his commitment to the peace and progress of Muslims in the land and prayed Allah to give him the wherewithal and wisdom to hold the position tenaciously.
Days later, a Group resident in Lokoja known as Ebira Visionary Movement, after her findings, found the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, HRH Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, worthy to be appreciated for his Humanitarian services and commitment to the course of ensuring peace, progress and oneness in the land.
During the August Edition of the Monthly Prayers at the Palace of the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi who is also the Vice Chairman, Ebira Area Traditional Council, the Group presented the Royal Excellent Award to the Traditional Ruler and encouraged him to continue in his good works.
The Chairman, Ebira Visionary Movement Lokoja, Abdullahi Onimisi Musa, said the Group is concerned about the deeming glory of Ebiraland, hence her decision to set up the Organisation with the aim of restoring the lost glory of the Land.
In the process of the Group carrying out her mandate, the Group found the Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi worthy of the Award in view of his Humanitarian activities towards ensuring better lives for the people and his commitment at carrying out his responsibilities in the Society.
The Award, Onimisi explained was to appreciate for his efforts and to encourage him to do more in the days ahead.
The Ohi of Okengwe-Ehi, HRH Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje in his response, appreciated the Group for the Royal Award of Excellence presented to him and dedicated it to Allah for giving him the enablement to impart the lives of others positively in the Society.
He promised partnership with the Group and also promised to remain committed to issues that will bring more development to Okengwe-Ehi and Ebiraland at large.
The Vice Chairman, Ebira Area Traditional Council, advised youth in the Society to emulate the wholesome activities engaged in by the Ebira Visionary Movement and encouraged them to use their skills for positive things that will help them make good names for themselves, their immediate family and the society at large.
The Occasion featured prayers for the success of Ahmed Usman Ododo, Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC for the November Governorship Election in Kogi State, Prayers for the healing of the sick, Success in the Businesses of the people, among others.
