Kogi Guber: APC holds one million man march at Ajaka, SDP candidate’s home.

Thousands of supporters of the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), in Kogi State, on Thursday besieged Ajaka, the country home of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, candidate, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka for a rally.
The multitude of the APC supporters was a demonstration of their strength and rubbish the claim of control of Igalaland by those they described as ethnic jingoists and enemies of Kogi State.
As a show of strength and confidence, the APC supporters also held what they called “a One-Million-Man Road Walk” at Ajaka, right inside the home of the SDP candidate, the headquarters of the Igala Mela/Odolu Local Government area of the state.
Top government officials, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habiba JATO, Rector Kogi state Polytechnic, Usman Ogbo and the Chairman of Igala/ Odolu LGA , Hon.James Omachonu, among others led the road walk, followed by thousands of indigenes from the various wards in Local Government.
Addressing APC supporters, the Igala Mela/Odolu Local chairman who convened the critical Stakeholders, James Omachonu, stated that “the only sellable candidate amongst several others jostling for the governorship seat of Kogi State is Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.”
He assured the people of the state that the APC candidate has the ability to bring the much-anticipated consolidation on the gains of his party’s administration in Kogi State in the past 7 years years.
He told the crowd that ethnic jingoists who were not interested in a united, peaceful and prosperous Kogi State were the enemies of the people and must neglected.
