As the people of Bayelsa State prepares to elect a new Governor, the National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress – APC, Dr. Mary Alile Idele (CAPACITY) has expressed optimism that the APC will takeover the number one seat of the State from the Peoples’ Democratic Party PDP in the coming Governorship Election in the State.
Dr. Mary made the assertion at the Inauguration Ceremony of the Bayelsa State National Gubernatorial Campaign Council (NGCC) held in Yenagoa, the State Capital.
The actionable NWL of the APC stirred a renewed hope in the minds of electorate in the State through her energetic speech that generated speedy positive response as the crowd were thrown into jubilation.
She said the era of PDP has come to an end in the Bayelsa, pointing out that the APC Governorship Candidate in the State, H.E Chief Timipre Marlin Silva CON and his running mate will win the November 11th Guber race.
“Bayelsa is a State that we are going to take from PDP. The incoming Governor, H.E Chief Timipre Marlin Silva is taking over as the the next Governor of Bayelsa State” she assured.
Dr. Mary who said women plays critical roles during election, charged women in the State to support the Candidate of the APC, vote for him and ensure the Party’s victory.
