There was no dull moment at the Glass House, Government House Lokoja as Entertainers from the three Senatorial Districts of the State set the Stage on fire through their captivating performances at the Inaugural Party of the APC Entertainment Committee Campaign Council for Ododo/Joel 2023.
The Party kick start activities of the Entertainment Committee of the All Progressives Congress APC Campaign Council as they canvass for support for the success of Ahmed Usman Ododo and Comr. Joel Salifu Oyibo to emerge as the next Governor and Deputy Governor in the November 11th Governorship Election in Kogi State.
Music Artists including Don Flash (Akatapa 1 of Africa), Yunique Ozi Ori, Hi Speed, Mr. Large, and a whole lot of other Artists, entertained the audience with their various Campaign Songs for Ododo.
Addressing the Crowd, the Director of the Entertainment Committee of the APC, Hon. Juwon Demas Olorunnipa (JUMABEE), assured that the Committee will work day and night to ensure that Kogi Agenda is fulfilled through Ododo as the next Governor of the State.
He pointed out that the Entertainment Committee plays important role in the Campaign Council, promising that they will live up to expectations in the discharge of their duties through collaboration and collective efforts of Members of the Committee.

“As we prepare for November 11th, 2023, our aim as a Committee is to project, rebrand, model and package our Party’s Candidate and the people’s choice, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo through tireless campaigns, rallies, Advocacy programmes, musical festivals and sensitization activities on why it should be him and no one else for a more unified and better Kogi State
“For continuity and consolidation, we stand strongly with the decision of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, its Governing body and the good people of Kogi on the choice of Ododo/Joel come November 11th, 2023″ he said.
In a Message to the event, the Director General of APC Campaign Council in Kogi State, Prince Shuaibu Audu, said the Party is keen to ensuring peaceful conducts all through the Campaign Season.
Prince Shuaibu, who was represented by Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, said APC remain a Party to beat in the coming election in the State.
He explained that Ododo/Joel will emerge victorious in the Coming election, calling on the people of the State to join the winning Team.
“Our Campaign is peaceful. We are campaigning to deepen the dignity of our dear State, to take our state to greater heights and we promise that we will not be involved in any violence. Winners dont fight, we urge you all to be peaceful in our Campaigns”
He advised Entertainers in the State to spread the gospel of Ododo/Oyibo, using arts, propagate what the administration of Yahaya Adoza Bello has done and tell the story using Music.
Speaking on the “Gains of the Current Administration”, the Secretary to Kogi State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade (PhD), commended the Entertainment Committee of the APC for the manner they they kick start their activities.
Dr. Folashade explained that Governor Yahaya Bello has brought Unity to the State, describing the Governor as the first in Nigeria to establish two functional University within a short period of time.
“His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello CON has also involved women and youth in his administration, so we really need Ododo/Oyibo Team to takeover the Leadership of the State”.
While delivering a Lecture on the “Merit of Ahmed Usman Ododo in the Next Dispensation”, the Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Dr. Usman Ogbo, said the APC Governorship Candidate will consolidate on the good works of Governor Bello, whom he said has improved all sectors in the State.
Speakers after Speakers all spoke of the good deeds of Ododo and the need for all to vote for him for more gains of democracy in the November 11th Governorship Election in Kogi State.
