Senator Aduda condoles ex-Senate President Lawan over mother’s death

The Senate minority leader of the 9th senate, Senator Philip Aduda, has commiserated with the former President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Halima (Baba) Ibrahim.
Aduda, in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Sunday, he said it is painful and devastating for one to lose his mother, especially at a time her wise counsel is highly needed.
He described late Hajiya Halima as a successful mother, adding that the deceased was a worthy example of womanhood going by the significant roles she played in her lifetime.
The Senate minority leader, while commiserating with the immediate past President of the senate, who represents Yobe North senatorial district, noted that Senator Lawan’s mother lived a life worthy of emulation, especially by the female folk.
He prayed for the repose of her soul, urging Senator Lawan to take solace in the fact that his mother lived an impactful life.
“And it is on this premise that, I on behalf myself and entire family wishes to commiserate with my able friend, brother and colleague, the immediate former President of the Senate, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan over the demised of his mother. We pray for God almighty to grant her an eternal rest in paradise,” he said.
He also prayed for God to give the deceased family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost.
Our correspondent learnt that, Senator Lawan’s mother, aged 86, passed on Saturday at her residence in Gashua town, Bade Local Government Area (LGA) of Yobe state.
