Kogi LG: APC take campaign to polling units, charges electorate on Ododo/Joel.

Kogi LGC with it’s headquarters in Koton-karfe has three zones, A, B and C.
The special campaign committee headed by Executive Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, had other members imclude, the Director General of Ododo/Joel campaign council, Alhaji Muhammed Shuaibu Asio, the APC local government Chairman, Hon. Abubakar Onah, Barr. Tanko Abdulrahman Ndakwo Ozi, the South East ward Chairman, Hon. Hamza Yunusa Abubakar Ozi led other party stalwarts to 16 polling units across Koton-karfe South East ward of Kogi LGC, said the aim was part of ongoing concerted effort by stakeholders to galvanized support for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ahmed Usman Ododo and his running mate, Salifu Oyibo Joel to emerged victorious in the November election
In a remark, Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, cautioned electorate not to be deceived by antics of failed opposition people who are out there telling lies, which he said they have nothing tangible to offer.
He said the time has come for people of Kogi LG to reciprocate Governor Yahaya Bello’s kind gesture by supporting the party so that the area will stand a better chance to achieve more in dividends in future.
Barr. Tanko Osuku commended traditional rulers and village chiefs for the support they have been providing to the present administration, saying such sincere support has aided the fight against insecurity in Kogi LG and urged them continue in that direction.
Barr Tanko was speaking during a APC campaign tour to 16 polling units in Koton-karfe South East Ward, include, Osuku, Onzo, Gwazaki, lakwu, kpareke, Ozi, Edeha, Akpogu and others on Thursday.
Our correspondent reports that the campaign team equally met with Gwari and other extraction at their various voting units.
Also speaking, the Director General of the Ododo campaign Council for Kogi LG, Alhaji Muhammed Shuaibu Asio, who specifically spoke to women and youths said the Government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello was their constituent and hence the need to work hard to sustain APC victory.
On his part, Kogi Local Government APC Chairman, Hon Abubakar Onah, thanked the people for their continues support for APC and the candidate Ahmed Usman Ododo and his running mate Joel Oyibo Salifu. He said Ododo just like Bello won’t let them doen.
He called on the people of Kogi LG particularly the Egbira to support Ododo to emerged so that the road linking Kogi and Nasarawa will be constructed, adding that it will promote economy stability and stop banditry and kidnapping activities in Kogi forest, which was earlier turned into another Sambisa by the men of the underworld.
