A special 40th-day prayer session was held on Sunday in remembrance of the peaceful repose of Hajia Ramatallahi, matriarch of Alhaji Tajudeen Ibrahim Bismillahi, a renowned community developer, politician, philanthropist, and business magnate, at her country home in Ejuku, Yagba East Local Government Area.
The fidau prayer rembrance of life attracted the elite of society from within and outside the state, including notable figures such as the Elujuku of Ejuku land, Chief Lamidi Ayeni; Elulu of Mopa land, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun; Right Hon. Abiodun Akinlade, National Assembly member from Ogun State; Dr. Nasir Mustafa, former Director-General of the National Productivity Center, Abuja; and Prof. Irefi-led delegation from Federal University Lokoja.
Sheikh Buhari Omo Musa, along with other prominent scholars, led the funeral prayers, seeking Allah’s grant of eternal rest and peaceful repose for the departed.
The cleric also prayed for God to continue blessing, guiding, and providing for the children the deceased left behind, and particularly for Alhaji Tajudeen Ibrahim Bismillahi, recognizing his notable achievements in his fatherland and substantial investment in propagating Islam.
The ceremony’s highlight was the unveiling of the Bismillahi and Ramatallahi Foundation, dedicated to his late parents, with friends and associates pledging millions of naira to complete the Oke Ayegun center.
The Bismillahi/Ramatallahi Foundation has initiated the construction of classroom blocks across four Islamic schools in Kogi Western Senatorial District, namely Isanlu, Imela, Lokoja, and Koton-karfi.
