Edo 2024: Owan West youth walk for Ighodalo

Over 2,000 youths of Owan West Local Government Area have just concluded a 5 kilometers walk in support of the candidature of Barrister Asue Ighodalo .
Mr Ighodalo is the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Edo State .
The highly successful event took the teaming and jubilant youths from Holy Trinity Grammer School to Late Benson Alegbe’s house.

The youths were mobilized from all the towns and villages in Owan West including Uhonmora, Oke Old, Eme Ora, Oke New Site , Sobe and surrounding areas.
As they moved from street to street , promoting their candidate and handling out branded T-shirts , facecaps and leaflets , they pledged to campaign and vote for Asue Ighodalo and Omorodion Agie, his Deputy .
Addressing the mammoth crowd , the Convener of the event , Barrister Godwin Dudu-Orumen , a citizen of the local government area pledged
that Mr Ighodalo is a man of his words and will ensure that development gets to the local government and the entire State.
He acknowledged that he has known Asue for over 40 years as a successful business person and that he will bring his visionary boardroom experience into governance in the State.
The youths thereafter agreed to mobilize into campaign groups to reach out to various interest groups in Owan West such as the elderly, small business owners , drivers and transport unions , students , and farmers to vote for Mr Ighodalo and the PDP.
