ICDA Elects New Officials.

The National president, Caretaker Committee of the Igala Cultural Development Association, ICDA Pastor Immanuel Ameadaji has charged the newly elected members of the Igala Cultural Development Association to work as a team to restore the lost glory of Igala kingdom.
Pastor Ameadaji who was the returning officer of the election yesterday made the remark after declaring the results in Idah on Saturday.
The occasion which was held at the idah township stadium under a very friendly peaceful and joyous atmosphere was well attended by delegates from twenty five states and FCT while others sent in their apologies.
Pastor Ameadaji said the new executive which was put together under the guidance of the holy spirit assured that the caliber of personalities that constituted the new executive were persons that have made their names far and wide and would deliver Ata Igala”s vision for the kingdom.
The returning officer advised them to always consult and be accountable to the Board of trustees and the Grand patron in all their deliberations.
Also speaking the collation officer professor Armstrong Idachaba commended the delegates for their orderly conduct which has ensured a hitch free election.
Professor Idachaba who was the former Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC praised the Caretaker Committee members for a job well done.
Twenty one executive members were elected at the delegates conference with an orthopaedic surgeon, Ahmed Abdullai as the new National President.
