The chairman of the Toto local government area of Nasarawa State, Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas has congratulated the immediate past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and now inaugurated as Chairman governing council in charge of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State.
Hon Tashas said God will continue to be with the righteous people, expressing confidence that the former speaker will bring his wealth of experience to bear.
While praising President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for considering Rt. Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi to lead one of the tertiary institutions in the country is indeed a call to national service. This and more were words of Executive Chairman Toto local government area, Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas who led the legislative arm, APC structure, and people of Toto local government to the National Universities Commission, NUC, venue of inaugurations of Chairmen and other members of the council held today being 4th July 2024.
Hon Aliyu Tashas expressed gratitude to God for what he has done for his friend, boss, and brother, noting that he will do his best to justify the confidence reposed in him by the President and commander in chief of the the Armed Forces the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The council boss spoke at a reception organized in honor of the former Speaker and now Chairman governing council, Feder Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State, and thanked the incumbent Speaker, Rt. Hon Danladi Jatau, Hon Aliyu Tijani Ahmed, Federal Commissioner / Chief Executive Officer of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), Hon Mohammed Yarima Al-Basheer, Former House of Representatives aspirant for Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency, serving lawmakers, LG chairmen, Vice chairmen, councilors, former LG chairmen and serving chairmen among others.
Hon Tashas also extended his appreciation to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for his support and benevolence towards the former Speaker especially during the struggle for his third term speakership, describing the governor as not only a hero but a good personal friend of Balarabe.
A press statement issued by Yahaya Idris Toto, SSA Media and publicity to the Chairman, said political supporter groups across the state converged in Abuja to witness the inauguration of their former Speaker and political leader.
Even as they prayed to God for Balarabe’s success in his new office.
