Police apprehend Notorious Kush “Mammy Queen”, Errand Boy

The intelligence news has obtained a report that the east end division of the Sierra Leone Police command successfully raided a Cow Yard Market on Hagan Street on Saturday.

According to the report, the operation resulted in the arrest of Iye Jozy, widely known as the “Mammy Queen” of Kent Street, a notorious figure in the local drug trade.

Also apprehended during the raid was one Hamza Osman Kamara, her errand boy and a resident of Mammy Yoko Street.

A statement issued by the police indicated that the successful operation was well planned and executed, which resulted in the seizure of a substantial quantity of suspected kush. Officers recovered a total of 1,060 raps of the illicit substance, divided into 780 and 280 raps respectively.

The police have been applauded for the significant haul of illegal operations purportedly overseen by Jozy, whose moniker “Mammy Queen” reflects her reputed dominance in the local drug scene.

The seized kush was promptly taken into custody and handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department at the East End Police Station. This move ensures that the exhibits will be subject to rigorous forensic analysis and form the basis for further investigative efforts aimed at dismantling the broader network of narcotics distribution in the area.

The successful raid at Cow Yard Market highlights the effectiveness of intelligence-driven policing and the East End Police Division’s commitment to combating drug-related crime.
