The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, It is a umbrella body that represents youth organizations and interests in Nigeria.
The NYCN aims to promote youth development, empowerment, and participation in governance and decision-making processes.
The NYCN serves as a platform for young people to come together, share ideas, and work towards creating positive change in Nigeria. The entire Youth and communities in Kogi State is thrilled to commend the State no one citizen for appointing young people into various government positions.

Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, the Kogi State Chairman of NYCN, in his congratulatory message to the Governor of Kogi State, said the recent appointments of over 1000 young people ranging from ward Special Assistants, (WSA’s), Local Special Assistants, (LGSA’s), Senior Special Assistants, (SSA’s), Special Advisers, and many others showcase the Governor’s dedication to harnessing the energy, creativity, and innovative thinking of young people. By bringing fresh perspectives to the table, these young leaders will play a vital role in shaping policies and programs that benefit our state and its future.
