In a significant development, the Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, Kogi State Council, has named Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, a renowned youth advocate and Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Kogi State Chapter, as its new Patron. This appointment underscores the council’s commitment to empowering young people and leveraging Comrade Ojodale’s expertise to drive positive change in the state.
The State Executive Council’s recent gathering culminated in Ojodale’s appointment, solidifying his position as one of the state’s chosen patrons for this distinguished organisation. This development underscores the council’s commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships, and Ojodale’s election was seen as a strategic move to leverage his expertise in advancing the organisation’s objectives.
In a statement in Lokoja, Elder Sunday I Audu, Kogi State President of the Boys Brigade Nigeria, reaffirmed the organisation’s strong endorsement of the Chairman of the Kogi State NYCN, praising his exemplary leadership qualities, steadfast support for youth and children, and invaluable contributions to the community, particularly in the realm of spiritual development. The Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has been appointed Grand Patron, reflecting his dedication to the Organization’s goals. Concurrently, Deputy Governor Elder Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo has taken on the responsibilities of Vice President, focusing on Kogi East and facilitating collaboration between the Organization and the region’s stakeholders.
