The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat in Wuse 2, Abuja, witnessed a joyous celebration as Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile Idele, APC’s National Women Leader, graciously hosted female Secretariat employees and Sister Group into her office.
The occasion marked a momentous victory for the party in the Edo State gubernatorial election held on September 21, 2024, which saw Senator Monday Okpebholo elected as Governor and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa as Deputy Governor.
As a crucial factor in the APC’s electoral success, Dr. Mrs. Idele effectively mobilized women across Edo State, garnering robust backing for the party. Through her leadership, she inspired the female electorate, leading to an impressive turnout and steadfast commitment that greatly contributed to the party’s triumph.
In recognition of this accomplishment, the Sister-To-Sister Worldwide Abuja Chapter paid a courtesy call to Dr. Mrs. Idele at the APC Secretariat, honoring her achievements with songs and dances, and extending congratulations to the National Women Leader on her instrumental role in the party’s victory in the just concluded Edo State Governorship election
