WFD: Stanbic IBTC Partners NGO on Food Security

To mark this years World Food Day program, Stanbic IBTC Bank in partnership with a Non- Governmental Organization , Sustain Aqua Green planet and Food Security Foundation (SAP-FSF) has organised an awareness to mark the occasion.

The event which took place at Abuja international Continental Hotel in the nation’s city was tagged “Agribusiness Breakfast Summit.”

In his submission at the occasion, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic IBTC, Mr Wole Adeniyi stressed the importance of guarding against food insecurity in the continent.

He averred the support of the leading financial institution, Stanbic IBTC in supporting both Education, Health care and Agriculture to ensure bumper harvest and avoid post harvest losses in the country.

The indepth event witnessed participants from both local and international spheres as well as leading agric business conglomerates and Organisations which presented position papers and way forward out of food insecurity.

The Executive Director, Sustain Aqua Green planet and Food Security Foundation (SAP-FSF), Mr Onoja Ameh also graced the occasion.
