Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, the sole female lawmaker in Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has started drilling boreholes in all seven electoral wards of her Nasarawa Central constituency, showcasing her dedication to delivering dividend of democracy to her people.
Hon. Danyaro, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairperson of the House Committee on Women Affairs, launched the project with the drilling of two boreholes in Zakun Bello Town, Laminga electoral ward as part of effort to fulfill electoral promised made during her electioneering campaign.
The Tafisu Rural Water Project initiative aimed to alleviate water scarcity among the local population, enhancing their hygiene and overall health and wellbeing.
According to her, the initiative which is a pet project of her second year in office has the first phase commencing in Laminga ward while the next beneficiaries will be in Ara one electoral ward and it will gradually cut across the seven electoral wards in her constituency.
Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim re-affirmed her commitment to the service of her constituents noting that she is determine in fulfilling her campaign promises to the people and ensure that they get the much needed dividends of democracy.
While calling for patience, support and more understanding from her people, the only female lawmaker in Nasarawa State drummed support for the present administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule to enable him succeed.
