Comrade Francis Obule, Delta State Governor’s Aide, Leads Keke Riders Association’s Thanksgiving/End of Year Party in Warri

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Comrade Francis Obule, Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters, expressed his delight in being part of the Union, stating that he is pleased to identify with them.

Hon Comrade Obule the Governor Aide and Chairman of the occasion stated that the Edjeba Unit of Delta State Keke Riders Association are men who have established themselves as people of impeccable character with high integrity.

He recalled that on numerous occasions, individuals who inadvertently left their personal belongings in their Keke consistently recovered their items in their original state, as the drivers frequently visited DBS to make public announcements aimed at tracing the owners of such misplaced or forgotten items in their Keke and custody.

The Governor Aide Who advised them to remain steadfast in the days of little beginning said:

” Some of us started like you yesterday, but today, we are no more there . My Prayer is that you are going to move beyond this level That’s my wish for you, and of course, I will not stop to say that you should support His Excellency, RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori the Executive Governor of Delta State Who is using the instrumentality of the MORE AGENDA to change out narrative for better.

He added: ” Today we are celebrating a harvest of road infrastructure across the State courtesy of our dear Governor who is working round the clock to make Delta State the envy of other States.

Hon Comrade Francis Obule cautioned Deltans to recall that the APC-led Federal Government has brought pronounced hardship to the nation, hence the need to reject and vote out APC come 2027.

He noted that the Port Harcourt Refinery, which was reportedly operational again, turned out to be a scam. He advised the Keke Riders Association to consistently support the PDP Government in Delta State under the leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, who is ordained by God to elevate Delta State to greater heights in this dispensation.

Mr Kelvin Ossai, Chairman of Keke Riders Association, Edjeba Unit, gave a welcome address, saying: “We have assembled today for our end-of-year Thanksgiving celebration, honoring God’s faithfulness in our lives. As members of the Edjeba Unit, we stand united in our gratitude. We held our Thanksgiving service at New Waive Bible Church, located in Bendel state, to thank God for the gift of long life and prosperity.”

Speaking further he said:

” We are here in the celebration ground at Francis Obule street Edjeba. We are here to say, God has done so much for us, and it has been so nice and so awesome for this union. I want to say that the union is growing from stage to stage and today, wherever we are now is just a step we believe very well that we are going to achieve more.

With a sense of gratitude, he said: “I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation to all those who traveled from far and near to be here. My sincere thanks are extended to all the distinguished dignitaries in the House who made it a point to attend this occasion. I appreciate each and every one of them. May God protect them, guide them, and ensure their safe return to their destinations, in Jesus’ name.”

Comrade Oluwafemi, the PRO of the Keke union, in his speech, advised Keke Riders to maintain their faithfulness to the hallmark of integrity. He also appealed to the government to review the daily ticket fee for Keke Riders, enabling them to serve the public better.

Comrade Aruawhe Omote Super, a pioneer member of the Edjeba Unit of the Keke Riders Association, recounted how he and another colleague used cutlasses to clear DBS park around 6pm in the evening, thereby founding the park.

Today, we are commemorating the park’s significance with an end-of-year celebration. I am deeply grateful, as this community exemplifies the spirit of collective benefit, where individual efforts, such as digging a well, become a valuable resource for all. I am delighted to see our initiatives flourish in this manner. Notably, we have the honor of hosting distinguished guests, including the SSA to the Governor, representatives from the PDP, the Edjeba Chairman, the Councillor representing Edjeba, and the community chairman, all of whom have graciously joined us today.

Also in attendance were other notable dignitaries, including Hon. Eriye Terence Erere, Councilor representing Edjeba Ward, Engr. Oscar Tugele Efe, Edjeba Community Youth Chairman, Hon. Henry Eritemu, PDP Chairman, Edjeba Ward, Hon. Sunday Ugbokodo, PDP Chairman, Ogunu/Ekurede Ward, Hon. Agbinone Omonigho Francis, SA to the Governor on Special Duties, and Comrade Omugbe Amos of the Lovely Friends Club of Nigeria.
