SEDC: Former Abia Minority Leader, Okogbuo Congratulates Wogu, Ohazuruka, Akwari on Presidential Appointment

The Director General of Abia Rejoice Movement and former Minority leader of the Abia State House of Assembly, Honorable Chibuzo Okogbuo, congratulates Dr Emeka Wogu, Hon Stanley Ohazuruka, and Chief Daniel Akwari on their appointment as Governing Board chairman and members of South East Development Commission by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Okogbuo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), observed that Dr Wogu’s appointment underscores his leadership and dedication to public service.
The ex-lawmaker expressed confidence in the capacity of the ex-minister of labour and Productivity to continue providing exceptional guidance and foster growth in his new new role.
Continuing, Okogbuo also noted that Ohazuruka’s appointment as Board Director of Finance of South East Development Commission(SEDC) reflects his outstanding financial and managerial acumen.
He believed that the former Abia State House of Assembly speaker will bring same level of excellence to the new position, ensuring fiscal responsibility and progress.
Okogbuo further stated “Dear Chief Akwari, as you assume your role as Board Member, representing the good people of Abia State may your wealth of experience and wisdom continue to drive positive change and inspire growth in the commission and the state.
“These appointments are not only a personal triumph for each of you, but also a victory for Ndi Abia. I wish you all the best as you embark on this new chapter of service to our nation, and I look forward to see the incredible impacts of your services as the pioneer management team”.
He however expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Benjamin Kalu for their support towards appointment of these notable Abians into Governing Board of the South East Development Commission.
