LP chieftain Emma Uche commends Otti, FG on Abia airport project

Labour party chieftain and Managing Director of Sonacop Industrial Limited, Mazi Emma Uche has lauded the existing partnership between the Abia state government and federal government towards enhancing the economic growths of the state
He commended the governments on the recent historic flag off of Abia Airport projects, saying the airstrip project when completed will accelerate economic and infrastructural development in Aba and umuahia capital city.
Uche, ex- aspirant during the concluded 2024 local government area chairmanship poll held in Arochukwu by the Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC), made the commendation in a statement on Wednesday.
He noted that historic feat achieved by Governor Alex Otti-led administration in the state when actualize will also create jobs and opportunities for local entrepreneurs to expand their businesses.
According to him, “This present state government has continued to demonstrate commitment, dedication and capacity towards transformation of Abia state. This airport project will turned Abia as destination hub that welcomes hundreds of thousands of important visitors from different parts of the world to do business investments. And it would also increase Abia internally generated revenues, whereby government will have enough money to continue in her execution of peoples-oriented projects across the whole local government areas of Abia state.
Uche hailed Otti-led government for making Abia a model state on transparency in the management of resources accrued to the state, unlike successive past administrations that subjected the state into heavy indebtedness.
“And this government is not borrowing money to finance infrastructural projects in the state. These resources being managed by this current administration are channeled in the development of our infrastructure which all Abians are witnessing now. So, I must commend Governor Alex Chioma Otti for prudence management of people’s resources. Other governor’s should emulate from Abia counterpart, “he maintained.
The Amuvi Arochukwu-born business tycoon further used the medium to urge people’s of Abia state to remain steadfast in their support to Governor Alex Otti’s administration as it’s unrelenting to place ‘Gods Own State’ on the path of economic greatness.
