Orbih’s Appointment: Ebiuwa’s Election Defeat Mischievous Meltdown
By Comrade Odia Robert( Ogedegbe)
The single Rita Ebiuwa who’s lifelong aspiration is to romance with political bigwigs in Edo State with no result in sight is at one of her meltdowns again after being part of those who cannot detain their tears and anguish and despair after the September 21st, 2023 defeat. The question in her mind today, just like it is in the minds of others of his ilks in Obaseki’s defeated Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is where do we go from here. It is part of several unanswered questions in the mind of the Obaseki’s paid hack fiction writer on social media without any known political relevance.
Ideally, it would have been more honourable to ignore Ebiuwa’s exhibitionist tendencies but lies take the shape of truth sometimes when they go unchallenged. Ebiuwa was disingenous in her fictitious write-up against the respected Chief Dan Orbih who recently was appointed as the Chairman of the Ambrose Alli University(AAU) Governing Council. It became imperative to set the record straight.
The recent appointment has been met with unwarranted criticism from certain quarters. Rita Ebiuwa’s article is a prime example of this, as it seeks to launder her dimming name by tarnishing Chief Orbih’s reputation with baseless allegations.
Firstly, it’s essential to recognize that Chief Orbih’s appointment is a testament to his exceptional leadership qualities and dedication to public service. Chief was a member of the Governing Council of the University of Port Harcourt under President Yar’Adua, and his ability to transcend party lines and work towards the greater good of the people is a quality that should be emulated, not criticized by fiction writers masquarading as political writers.
Contrary to Rita Ebiuwa’s claims, Chief Orbih’s political journey has been marked by his unwavering commitment to the development of Edo State and Nigeria as a whole. His influence and power have been used to uplift and empower others, rather than for personal aggrandizement. His yearly well coordinated palliative sharing worth hundred of millions to members of his immediate constituency for over seventeen years is a ready-made testimony to this fact. I am sure Ebiuwa would have witnessed it first hand some years ago.
It’s also worth noting that Chief Orbih’s appointment has been widely praised by stakeholders, including the Lagos State Alumni Association of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and the Managing Director of Edo Broadcasting Service, Sulaiman Aledeh. These endorsements are a testament to Chief Orbih’s credibility and ability to lead.
There is no profit to be made by Chief Orbih from being the Chairman of the Governing Council of AAU, rather, the institution which was near total destruction by Obaaseki, Ebiuwa’s Lord, needs to be repositioned. I am sure Ebiuwa watched videos that were viral where lecturers from the institution openly celebrated the bitter defeat of Asue Ighodalo, Obaseki’s godson.
There was no time Obaseki requested Chief Orbih to forward any name to him for consideration for appointment as the Secretary to the State Government, SSG. The repeated lies that Chief Orbih replaced Bar Paschal Ogbome’s name with that of his brother, Bar Fedinard Orbih, is a lie from the pit of hell. In the near future, Chief will address those told lies which were peddled from Obaseki’s camp all through his four years uncharming years.
In conclusion, Chief Dan Osi Orbih’s appointment as the Chairman of the AAU Governing Council is a well-deserved recognition of his exceptional leadership qualities and dedication to public service. We should be celebrating his achievement, rather than attempting to tarnish his reputation with baseless allegations.
