NADESSTU Honors OMO Foundation with a Special Award for Providing Free JAMB Registration to 1,000 Students and Fully Funding Scholarships for Over 100 Students
The National Association of Delta State Students (NADESSTU WORLDWIDE) has landed the Founder of OMO Foundation, Dr. Oritsegbegbemi Maurice for his outstanding contributions towards educational development, which earned him the prestigious Champion of Educational Development award.
The leadership of NADESSTU witnessed the registration process for 1,000 students in Koko, Warri North LGA yesterday and described the initiative as a Commendable gesture that will not only alleviate the financial burdens that come with the registration but also encourage the students to study hard.
According to the National President, Comr Wiska Monday, he said “The OMO Foundation recently celebrated their 5th anniversary late last year and it has been over 5 years of assisting our students to achieve their academic pursuits by giving fully funded scholarship to students who score over 250 in the Jamb examination”.
“We have also seen various initiatives of the OMO Foundation which includes, sponsoring of youth into football to various countries, cash gifts to aged mothers and youths, water projects amongst others poised towards giving back to the society for nation’s growth.”
