Confluence Trust Newspaper congratulates Dr. P.F. Fashagba on his swearing-in as Provost of College of Education Ankpa, urging him to make a positive impact
The management and staff of the Confluence Trust Newspaper congratulate the newly sworn-in Provost, College of Education Ankpa, Dr P.F. Fashagbad escribed his appointment as a well deserved one.
The publisher of the print media outfit, Hon. Solomon Agada made the commendation at Ankpa after the swearing in ceremony. Agada stated that the resumes and academic excellent record of the new helmsman no doubt will bring his best in moving the institution forward, commended the former provost of the college for instituting integrity and projects that propel the institution to the present level urged him not to renege on his promises to assist the provost when needs may arise.
Hon Agada commended the dynamic leadership of the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for finding a worthy son of Kogi State to stir the ship of the institution assuring him that,the new provost will deliver excellently well
Agada equally appreciated the Ejeh Ankpa and chairman, Ankpa area traditional council His Royal Highness, Alh. Dr Yakubu Abubakar Sadiq II and the community for the warm reception accorded the new provost, urging the traditional ruler to continue to do his best for the rapid development of the college.
Agada further stated that ,upon assumption in office,the new provost has set up a committee to look into the challenges of water and electricity supply which has been part of the college for over 43 years of its existence and thereby declared a state of emergency in the energy and water sectors of the institution.
He urged the management, staff and students to continue to show commitment and cooperation as demonstrated with the former provost, Dr. Ibrahim M.K. for continued development.
