There is a renewed sense of hope in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State following the commencement of recovery and revival efforts led by Ameh Williams to restore all long-abandoned earth-moving machines, including graders and bulldozers.

This initiative is aimed at preparing for the massive repair of feeder roads and the opening of new streets across key districts such as Okpo, Ogugu, and Imane among others which he said top his ongoing administration priority.

The earth-moving equipment, which had been left unused for an extended period, is being repaired and made operational.

The Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Council, Hon Ameh Williams, explained that the restored machines will be deployed to fix existing feeder roads that have deteriorated over time, improving accessibility and transportation within the LGA.

He assured the residents that new streets will be opened in the Okpo, Ogugu, and Imane districts, facilitating better connectivity and boosting local economic activities.

The chairman noted that the project is expected to enhance mobility for residents, promote trade, and improve overall quality of life in the local government area.

The first sound of the machine brought joy on the faces of the people of Olamaboro particularly in Ogugu where the equipment was abandoned for years.

The Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Comrade Ameh Williams, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God and to his principal, the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He acknowledged that the vision and continuous support from His Excellency have been fundamental to the notable achievements recorded so far in the local government.

During an inspection visit to Ogugu, Comr Williams observed the work of six teams of engineers brought in from SANY Engineering, the manufacturers of the grader machines.

These teams have been working tirelessly on the earth-moving equipment to ensure their full operational status.

The Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Comr Ameh Williams, has underscored the vital role of the grader machine in enhancing the local government’s infrastructure. He stated that once the grader becomes fully operational, it will be deployed to grade feeder roads across the entire local government area.

In a remark Hon Sule Audu Mayor, the Supervisory Councillor for Works, commend the Chairman’s consistent drive, describing Comr Williams as a man of wisdom whose vision is already turning things around in the positive direction for Olamaboro. He praised the Chairman’s styles of leadership and noted that working with him has led to tangible progress within the short period.

Also present was Hon Hamza Abubakar, who acknowledged Comrade Williams for his commitment, saying that under his leadership, Olamaboro is clearly on the path of growth. Hon Audu Emmanuel, Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture and Hon Godwin Eleojo, Councillor representing The good people of Olamaboro Ward 1, Were also part of the Chairman’s entourage during the inspection visit, all acknowledged the Chairman’s unrelenting efforts in his quest to reposition Olamaboro LGA.

The Chairman, express his commitment to upholding the passionate leadership style of Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in Olamaboro LGA and call on the people to continue to give their unalloyed support to the Governor.
